***I am a few days behind on the blog and I am going to add the date to not confuse.
With all my recent dealings with the government I figured that the boyfriend and I going to get healthcare was going to be a complete nightmare and we were going to get beat up as we were heading into the "bad" part of town. Thankfully, the day was neither one of these things. I got lost or lets say confused as to where the place was but happened to stumble upon it as the boyfriend called for help. We walked and were greeted by the overly friendly guy behind the desk. He was super helpful and copied and organized all the papers we had brought. He even cross checked the boyfriend in the system and found that he had applied several years ago and got him setup without going to see the agent. I had to go back though, which again was not bad. The man answered all my questions and gave me a lot of information to read and ponder. Overall, it was a great experience and had me putting a little faith back into the government. I hope that this translates to my calls to unemployment later this week.
